Description:Directs administration of health care facility within authority of governing board by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.
Duties:Other duties may be assigned.
1. Develops and recommends processes, programs or services at the clinic level that enhance quality, efficiency and regulatory compliance to promote excellent service and quality patient care.
2. Administers fiscal operations processes such as budget planning, in-clinic fee, credit and collection procedures, and accounting.
3. Monitors and maintains staffing levels within approved budget parameters. Directs hiring and training of personnel. Promotes cooperative and safe work environment. Maintains effective working relationships with physicians and staff.
4. Ensures proper maintenance of Clinic building systems and equipment. Negotiates for improvement and additions to buildings and equipment. Coordinates and manages all changes, additions, remodels within the clinic.
5. Directs and coordinates activities of medical, nursing, and administrative staffs and services to ensure compliance with Key Work Processes, regulations and clinic standards and to promote excellent service and quality patient care.
6. Develops new processes, policies and procedures for applicable clinical activities. Assists in the creation of medical support systems and procedures. Resolves operational problems for all areas of assigned clinic(s).
7. Meets all attendance guidelines as set by the organization.
8. Represents establishment at community/service club meetings.
9. Follows established safety procedures.
10. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/executive management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

1. Manages subordinate leads/supervisors who supervise employees in the clinics.
2. Is responsible for the overall administration, direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
3. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's practices, guidelines, and applicable laws.
4. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; conducting involuntary terminations; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:A minimum of five years experience in orthopedics, three years of supervisory experience, business development, contracting and marketing skills desired; excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from an accredited four-year college or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply basic concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical job related situations.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel Word software.

Other Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management practices. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Knowledge of health care administration principles.
