| Description: | Provides professional nursing care to patients through telephone triage. |
| Duties: | (This list may not include all of the duties assigned):
1. Answers telephone inquiries regarding patient needs.
2. Conducts sound nursing assessment, offers alternatives following established guidelines.
3. Refers inquiries to appropriate resource.
4. Documents all inquiries for medico legal/statistical purposes.
5. Performs data entry at time of call (where applicable).
6. Attends staff meetings as required.

| Qualifications: | 1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Possession of a current Oregon Registered Nurse license.
3. 3-5 years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting preferred.
4. Superior nursing process skills.
5. Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
6. Basic counseling skills.
7. Ability to speak clearly and concisely with a pleasant telephone voice.
8. Ability to handle stressful situations.
9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public.
10. Current healthcare provider level CPR certification required.
