| Description: | Performs radiologic procedures as directed by providers. |
| Duties: | (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)
1. Prepares patients for radiologic procedures.
2. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
3. Insures equipment is on good order.
4. Logs radiologic procedures completed.
5. Processes routine paperwork.
6. Maintains examination rooms; stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
7. Assists in maintaining storage and filing of x-rays.
8. Develops and processes radiologic film.
9. Delivers, picks up and returns films from physicians.
10. Maintains patient confidentiality.
11. Performs other duties as required.

| Qualifications: | 1. Completion of course in radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
2. Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible.
3. Current healthcare provider level CPR certification.
4. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area for radiography.
5. Knowledge of radiology equipment and testing.
6. Knowledge of safety hazards common to radiology, including equipment, body mechanics and patient movement.
7. Skill in identifying equipment problems.
