| Description: | Assists in the delivery of specialty health care and patient care management. |
| Duties: | (This list may not include all of the duties assigned):
1. Escorts patients to room and assists in determining medical problem.
2. Prepares patients for examination and treatment.
3. Takes patient histories and vital signs.
4. Prepares exam rooms and instruments for examination and/or testing.
5. Stocks supplies.
6. Gives injections and applies splints and dressing.
7. Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries.
8. Responds to and refers incoming telephone calls. Instructs patients and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
9. Assist in the referral process.
10. Maintains patient confidentiality.

| Qualifications: | 1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Surgical experience preferred.
3. 1-2 years of professional nursing experience.
4. Experience in Dermatology preferred.
5. Possession of a State Registered RN license.
6. CPR Certification.
7. Skill in assisting in a variety of treatments and medications as directed.
8. Skill in taking vital signs.
9. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
10. Must be flexible, quick learner, able to multi-task.
